From a Sami Village to a Popular Holiday LocationFor a long time the Sami people have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of Ollila Holiday Cottage as their holiday location. The setting is filled with ancient tales which your hosts will gladly elaborate on. The Sami people stocked up for winter by fishing, hunting, and picking berries in this area. These activites are still popular hobbies for the locals today. People used the waterways of Lakes Muojärvi and Välijärvi as passages through the area, and these lakeshores were settled by the first inhabitants of Kuusamo. All this proves that Ollila Holiday Cottages is a perfect place for a holiday, nowadays also throughout the year. Here you will have an opportunity to take part in the genuine Nordic way of life.
